Pet Danger – Cat Food Recalled for Salmonella risk

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Nov. 14 that Go Raw, LLC, a Cottonwood, Utah-based raw pet food manufacturer, is voluntarily recalling its Quest Beef Cat Food products due to potential Salmonella contamination.

The recall was prompted after the Minnesota Department of Agriculture discovered samples of the product tested positive for Salmonella, although Go Raw reportedly tested the product as well and found a negative result, according to the FDA.
